Windows.

Hi to all,

I am off to look at some replacement windows today for my old Bedford CF, I found a guy on-line who said he had what I was looking for.
He is a caravan dismantler based in Carluke on the A73, so I will see if he can help and take a good look at the stuff he has to offer.

Doug.

Windows.

Hi to all,

Well I have been to see and buy a couple of side windows for the old bedford camper, there needs to be some adjustments to get a good fit but they are very close to what I need.
But while I was there I got a chance to see what else this guy had stored away,
from ovens to hobs and loo's to wood burning stove's.
So well worth a phone call if you looking for fittings to convert or replace old units, phone on 017933 584468 or e-mail (lanarkshirecaravanparts@yahoo.com)

Doug.

CPR caravan recycling.

Hi Guy's,

If you drive into Carluke from the M8 end you will pass the one and only filling station on your right, BP.
The first turning on your left is Sandy road, follow that up to a small roundabout and turn left, this takes you out on to a country road.
And he has a storage unit on the first farm steading on your left, but phone him first so that he can meet you there, 07933 584468.
And yes you will be able to get loose window catches, hindges, handles and the like, he has another place where he strips down caravans but I don't know where that is.
He does up lift old caravans and campervans, (thats why I did not take my old Bedford anywhere near his place) ah ah.

ive measured my back window from the out side ..can i just check that i have done the right thing ..ie measuring the window not the hole .
also is there any play with the size of the window because ive seen one but if my measurements are correct then its 2cm to wide and 1 cm to short .will this be ok or does it have to be exact .its alot of money if it doesn't fit
thanks

Size matters.

Hi guypjfreak,

Correct size does matter but you will find that getting exact size, feet and inches to metric difficult, (our van where built in old money).
