Engine undertrays.

Hi to all,

While I worked in the motor trade I noticed back in the eighties the introduction of undertrays, not just on posh up market cars but on almost every car make.
The manufacturers reason at that time was that it kept the engine and gearbox units clean, but most of us in the trade knew it was more likely to contain and control oil leaks and drips from the power unit.
So I have applied this excuse to my Bedford CF and made up an undertray, which is an honest to god oil drip catcher and the driveway looks much better for it.

Doug.

Pic's.

Hi doddind,

Sorry on picture's but it is just 9mm ply cut to slot on top of the crossmember and three 10mm set-scews to fix it to the base of the front bumper.
