Help. Awning sugestions wanted. As a newbie to the Bedford CF forum and having just purchased a CF 250 1982 hightop camper, I am looking for help and sugestions for a suitable biggish awning. It would be great if there was such a thing as an L shaped that run down the side of the campervan and right angled around the back so it could be accesed from the rear door. All sugestions and configorations will be greatfully recieved as i am on a sharp learning curve with this vehicle and camping with a campervan. Many thanks in anticipation of your replies. Youre being ambitious finding an L shaped on, but Id suggest either an Omnistor rollout one and buying side panels, or get a drive away one. Ive just bought a Seeker DL one (ex display) which fits the back of my van, but not been away yet to use it properly. You need to know what height you want and where it will be located- perhaps try going to an outlet which has some on display because its easier to see what youre getting. ---------------------- | Fri 27 Jan 2012 @ 14:09 |

Hi Mikeyboy Thanks for a fast response to my post. I will certainly check out the Omnistor and Seeker DL. but like you say L shaped awning is going to be ambitious, perhaps i should design one but not sure there would be enought demand in the market. robert | Fri 27 Jan 2012 @ 14:24 |

Anyone with anymore sugestions Anyone with anymore sugestions for a rear awning that will fit my hightop Bedford Cf250. I have never used one before and not sure how they fit with the double doors opening or which ones would be suitable. Thanks Robert | Sun 29 Jan 2012 @ 22:06 |

not a bad idea Hinot a bad idea adapting a tent, though not too good at the sewing. i wonder if any one makes them to order made to measure. The ones i have seen on the internet seem as if they would restrict the double doors opening. i am a beginer with all this so grateful for any help Thanks Robert | Sun 29 Jan 2012 @ 22:28 |

I have a Sunncamp Aspect DL Driveaway awning. Take a look on their website as it gives the dimensions. It all fits nicely on my pop-top beddie but would be a better fit on a hi-top. Pros - freestanding, not too expensive, the tunnel section is the perfect depth for the rear doors. Cons - no ground sheet. | Sat 04 Feb 2012 @ 11:24 |
