hi just cf250 SV100 drove it back from suffolk to cumbria used alot of petrol found that its poor compretion on two pots none on no 2 may need some advice hope someone can help thnks for looking Tommy

No compression on any cylinder usually means damaged valve/s ... but to be sure that you'll get the best help start a thread in CF Questions rather than here.

Hi welcome to the forum
I also have an autosleeper SV100 they are great vans I get about 22mpg out of mine on a long run which I am quite happy about. I am sure you will get all the help and advice that you need.

Find out what's wrong with the engine first.

If it's just the cylinder head then fixing that certainly would be the quieter option as well as the quickest way to get the van usable.

Whether to keep running on petrol or install LPG or swap for a diesel will depend on how much you use the van.

Ask in General chat. It's a question that's been answered a number of times but everybody's requirements are different & as time goes on there's more to add from other members' experiences so it's worth asking again I think.
