Good luck Doug. You keep on top of your van so I wouldn't imagine there being any problems.
Having said that, speaking from experience, I took mine in for an MOT and look what happened and, whatsmore, I still don't have an MOT.

MOT day.

Hi to all,

Well tomorrow is the day for the old bedshed to go for another MOT, its third in my ownership and it don't get any easier because the rust increases every year greatly helped by the Scottish weather.
On the good side I get to drive my Bedford for the first time since last October so I will take the scenic route of eight miles instead of three and a half, just to blow out the cobwebs.
So pass or fail I will enjoy the journey.

Doug.

MOT DAY

That's it then Doug, stock up the fridge and away you go! I have a few hours toil before "EUEY" goes for an MOT, the clutch u/s, speedo drive on g/box u/s & grinding noise in idle & 1st gear. I also have a new prop centre bearing waiting to be fitted. Happy days!

Happy days.

Hi honington,

Yes you have some work ahead you but nothing that I have not already had to do,
I do have a gearbox if you need one which will have a speedo drive already fitted.

Doug.

Gearbox

Hi Doug, It's a 4 speed ZF, when I bought the camper about 5 years ago it was grinding then, so I took it to the local gearbox reconditioner. Later back home minus £390.00 I re fitted it, after alot of #####! I drove it back to him, He said it was bench tested ok. and that it must be the small spigot bearing in the crank shaft. I don't think so, anyway I will drop it out again soon. I wil update you then.

Graham
