There should be another no before the 8.5 though.

I have posted a link in the Useful Links section.
just scrawl down and enter your tyre size and get an instant conversion......

hi, thanks, our tyre size isn't on there though, & it doesn't have another number before the 8.5,. it's for an '81 bedford tk horsebox, embarassed myself
today asking at the local tyre place, made me feel like a stupid little woman, he told me there 'are' no equivalents, but i 'know' other tyres will fit, i just don't know which ones
thanks for your time

825R16 for split rim wheel for 6-stud hub?

If so then it's a common enough size I think.

Have you tried truck tyre places?

well, thanks for your help erm,. don't trust a child to read
off numbers for you ever,. it was 8.25 & i found a couple of very
good part worns for our lorry in the end

thanks again, again,

one more thing though Master of all knowledge,.. do you happen to know if an mgb, or a fright rover clutch will fit my sherpa,. the sherpa is 1798cc, 18v, b series & i believe the clutch should be 9in or 228.6mm, but everything i've looked at is slightly over, or under that,.

thanks

Try Calder Clutches.
