Ventured into the Kingdom.

Hi to all,

Yesterday we ventured in to the Kingdom Fife and we made back out again unharmed, had a good day with the family on beach at St Andrews.
So today it is clean out the campervan day and check over all levels and all moving parts that may need some work.
Like a noisey rear propshaft joint, dam rubber boot has gone and burst again, it has lasted a much longer time than before but have to find a cure.

Doug.

Hello Doug,
You left the bright lights of Perth and Dundee and headed your way into the Kingdom, it must have seemed like going back a hundred years. Last time I was in Dundee they were still working on the slip road onto the bridge and nobody had any idea where they were going.
Funny you should mention you were in St Andrews, Ann and myself were there as well but, as opposed to you, we were up on the far end by Kinkell Brae.
It's been quite some time since I've been down at the beach at St Andrews, we used to have a barbeque in the woods at Tentsmuir; beautiful sandy beaches, thank you for reminding us about it.

Rae & Ann

St Andrews.

Hi Guy's,

Away back in the sixties we adopted a wee girl and she was at a foster home in StAndrews so we seen a lot of that place on a weekly basis.
So we did see a lot changes over there last Sunday, that wee girl is now 49 years old and living in Eastbourne.

St Andrews.

Hi Alex,

Yes it was a walk into the past but to adopt then was a minefield and the wee girl had been sent there because StAndrews had students from other countries.
She was of mixed race so they thought she would blend in easier, well that was how they explained their thinking at that time.
As it took two years before we got her to live with us you can see why we have not visited the place for a long time.

Doug.
