our Cornwall trip

hi again thought id tell you how we got on on our trip to see Suzanne Vega at the Minack theatre in Cornwall it was great .
we headed down a few days before so we could look around and popped to Newquay and wild camped just out side really beautiful sunset and sunrise then we broke down outside st Ives so wild camped there lol .had a broken fuel pipe and found that the exhaust had melted the water pipe so no shower ahahahahah but lucky it was nothing more serious.
went to the Minack next day [if you ever go there there is a hill of death to get up ] had a great evening although tis was a bit cold .
then it was of to a camp site the sea-view international really clean and nice but not alot around it to walk to so just chilled for a few days before checking Mevargissy out .parked for a £5 out side town cos of roads but had a nice stroll and a pint .
next day drove back in one hit and all i can say is how proud i am of our van she drove great [although some of those hill were hard work] and she was the best looking camper on site imo .anyway MOT in next few weeks so see how she gets on we also picked up a broken wing mirror god knows how lol is that a MOT failing by the way ??

Cornwall trip.

Hi guypjfreak,

I know the area very well as I worked for nine years on long distance coach driving and did my fair share of Cornwall.
I bet she found it hard going up telegraph hill the (camper that is) my old van slows down a heck of a lot on some of the steep climbs we have to the north and west of Perth.
But hey she get there at her own pace and I like no doubt yourself tend to forget her age and the amount of gear we are carrying on board.
So get that wing mirror fixed, and the shower pipe, you'll sail through that MOT.

Doug.
