Trailer Plea Hope people don't think I am being cheeky here or breaking forum etiquette - but I've just bought a non runner CF2 Autosleeper for spares or repair on eBay and need to trailer it 21 miles from Feltham Middx to home in Palmers Green in north London.I would be very grateful if any member were in a position to lend me a 2.5 ton trailer or even lug the thing for me - in return for payment of course ! Failing that, can anyone recommend a sensibly priced recovery firm in the north or west London area ? Many thanks ---------------------- | Mon 16 Jul 2012 @ 12:31 |

Have you got breakdown recovery for your own vehicle? If so,give them a ring they might offer you a cheaper option than ringing round these. ---------------------- | Mon 16 Jul 2012 @ 13:37 |

I hired one from indespension when I picked up my CF, about £80 for the day from memory, but that was 5 or 6 years ago. They have hire centres all over. ---------------------- | Mon 16 Jul 2012 @ 18:19 |

Thanks for some very helpful replies and the kind offer of a transporter ! In the end I found a contractor who will do the job for £150. By the time I'd hired a good trailer and driven a round trip of 40 - 50 towing miles at probably 10 mpg in my current CF, there was not much in it cost-wise. | Tue 17 Jul 2012 @ 08:27 |
