new boy Hello all.Well, in my girlfriends infinite wisdom, decided to buy a 1978 Automatic CF Ambulance from ebay (you may have seen it). its been converted into a camper and its a good size which our three Huskys appreciate. Picked it up last sunday. When i saw it the head went in the hands with a " What a heap of S***" comment followed buy "What the hell have you done sweetheart". Still, her money her problem. However, looking round it i kind of started to fall in love with it.... We own a unique piece of history..... My girlfriend decided to drive it to west sussex to visit relatives and that when the problems began... Anyhow, apart from the head light falling out on the m25 and the wing mirror falling off and it pulling to the left and doors that dont lock and leaking windscreen and the oily petrol smell, she now wont reverse and thats not good. So i think the misses hates the thing now and wants to get rid but im not so sure i want to give up on the old gal yet. (the cf not my girlfriend) I think ill need a the help i can get. If any of you guys and girls do want to buy her just let me know. I have to keep my options open. Ebay link below if you want to see pics. http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/221081029239?ssPageName=STRK:MEWNX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1439.l2649#ht_500wt_1413 ---------------------- | Fri 24 Aug 2012 @ 22:07 |

She'll come around once she's had time to have a good look. Just ask her how she would like to re-arrange the interior. Once she starts making plans theres no turning back. ---------------------- | Tue 28 Aug 2012 @ 10:27 |

Hi Hood welcome to the Club, Pulling to the left mite be the brakes needs adjusting. no reverse mite be low on oil. To check the transmission oil you need to warm the box then on tick over check the oil level on the dipstick. If it needs topping up you pour it in the dipstick reseptacle. Judging by the interior pics, you have a very appropriate reg' number. I think whoever chose the colours was on it! ---------------------- | Tue 28 Aug 2012 @ 22:11 |

I think whoever chose the colours was on it! Haha,I hadn't noticed that. Just for the record,we have very similar curtains in our Trailblaze (if the Mrs ever finishes them). doesn't help with the flashback | Wed 29 Aug 2012 @ 10:26 |
