Ok Alex,

We've tucked into my CF1!! Here are some progress pics following on from the original pics of the van in the 'Questions' section that I posted.

Work continues tomorrow!

Let me know what you think mate.

Cheers

Hi Ian, well now, you are certainly not messing around with that Beddy. That's a proper job, cut out the crud and in with new steel!

First class, lovely to see a job done well.

Can't wait for the next chapter!!!

Hi Alex, no filler in the van at all, but the wings had holes in and if you're gonna do it properly....

Hi Ian,

That beddy is going to be one solid beast! You really are doing a grand job.

Those new panels must have cost a fortune, so glad to see that the rest of that Beddy is being done to the same standard!

When it's finished, to what use will you put the van?

Hi Martin, thanks!

I'm a roofer mate and she's coming to work with me!!

I've currently got a '99 Transit 150S Custom SWB turbo, one of only two left in the country! Everyone cannot believe how immaculate it is for a work van. I'm only selling it as I wanted a CF1 and now I have found one!

Hi Ian,

You obviously want perfection and are going to get it! I daresay your CF1 will be the best anywhere, when it's finished.

Can't wait to see the finished article! It's certainly going to be spectacular!

Hello Ian,
It's always reassuring that, even after all these years, you can still get replacement steel wings. I dread to think how much they cost you but if they last as long as the last set it will be money well spent.

The CF continues

Some nasties are apparent, no messing, cut the f***ing lot out and and weld in brand new steel, the ONLY way to restore!!!! Been doing all this with bad bad man flu to boot!! Proper bit of determination!!
