Just bumping this thread as it's coming up soon and there doesn't seem to be many going.

Hopefully I'll be turning up for a visit so that should put a few people off

I'll have to pass on the beer as I'll be driving but it'll be nice to meet you and to catch up with John.

If there's any model railway enthusiasts going to Cwmcarn let me know as I've got a stacks of 1970-1990 model railway magazines to give away if anyone wants them.

It was nice to meet up with you lot again. Pity I couldn't make it on the weekend to have met Dave too.

Hi Alex don't bother me last time john & myself ran any meets we never had any problems, think it only came up when others try to do it on council tips and stately homes LOL. but that is all in the past and best left there, all we are trying to do is get this great club busing again and arange some meets Rgards Pete

As quoted by yourself:-

"all we are trying to do is get this great club busing again and arange some meets Rgards Pete"

Hi Pete, could i maybe then suggest as a member that this section be opened too all members and not just cardholders, that way you`ll have a wider audience and allow newbies too feel part of the site,as a lot of members seem to come on and leave before becoming said cardholders, and will miss out on these meets, by doing this it will hopefully increase your numbers, unless you wish to be seen as selective, which as a club/site we can`t really afford to be at this time.

Hi Alex I think as a registered member you can see the rally section .I could before becoming a card holder again. if not I agree that all members should be able to see the rally section, after all its no secret where we will meet. But at the end of the day its all up to Colin and I'm happy to go along with that Regards Pete

Hi pete,i couldn`t see it unless logged in(cardholder),and as your in agreement, perhaps Colin will see the potential in opening this up to everyone, and things can develop,it does make sense to allow everyone to have a chance too take part and attend these meets.

The area should have been open for viewing to all but I've just reset it just in case. I've tried logging out and can still view so should be okay. You can't post without logging in but that's a site wide thing. Annonymous posting isn't allowed.

Couldn`t see it without first logging in(but then thats me),hopefully it`ll open doors for anyone with an interest in the site and meets,as you say registering before posting is a must, and hopefully the shy ones will come in,join up and take part, thank you for replying and making sure it works for all.

You wouldn't want to peer over my neighbours fence. She looks like her clothes need ironing even when she's not wearing any
