Brakes.

Hi ukmarc,

Check the layout of the brake pipes, if it is a tandom system the mastercylinder will have two chambers one spilling into the other.
You will have two brake pipes coming out of the mastercylinder, check to see which wheelcylinders are fed from the back pipe and which are fed from the front pipe.
It maybe piped front and then rear or nearside front and offside rear, if it was front and then rear you should bleed the front first, if it is split to one front and one rear you should bleed the rear first and then the nearside front.
What I find helps a lot is to clamp the flexi hose feeding the wheel you have just bled, then move to the next wheel in the order of bleeding, once bled you clamp that flexi hose.
Once you have finished bleeding all the wheels release just one clamp at a time checking the pedal after removing each clamp, that way you may find the faulty wheelcylinder or pipe connection.
Another help can be locking up all the brake adjustment so that all the wheels can't turn, stopping the wheelcylinders from moving while you bleed the system.
I hope this is some help to you.

Doug.
