CF2,3 valve length?

HI!
I'm Zoltan from Hungary, and have a problem, please help me.

The Original intake valve length is equal the exhaust valve length??? (2,3l petrol)
I can't set the valve clearance on intake valves!
But these valves made in Hungary, not an original Vauxhall !
Or the gasket is must be thick between cylinder head and camshaft assembly? Is this the solution?

Please check these photos, in my cylinder head the intake valves are longer than exhaust!

Valve adjustment.

Hi Zoltan,

You can buy thicker adjustment screws to replace the ones in the camshaft followers which will increase the amount of adustment per turn, you should reserch Adrain Bailey Bedford parts on the internet.

Hi Doug !

Thank You, is OK, but a problem is a follow:
- the screw are removed from the tappet,
- I can not see the end of the valve through the screw-hole,
- the tappet is sit on the spring plate,

Therefore the tappet continuously press the spring plate,(valve is open) , and the screw can not connect with the valve-end.
There is no pressure in the cylinder.

All exhaust valve is OK !!

I think, intake valve is too long, or spring-plate is too high.....
Can anyone tell me how tall the intake valve exhaust valve before? (see the photos)

I hope you understand I was little my English.
(my English is poor)

Valve lenght.

Hi Zoltan.

The height of the valve when fitted into the cylinder head should be 28.7mm, but you don't seem to have any valve stem above the top coller so there will be a cap between the valve stem and the bucket adjustment screw.
Which would mean that the valve stems are too short to reach the adjustment screws.

Thank you Doug!!

You are great!

I checked the size, the exhaust valve is OK, the intake valve is larger ... (made in Hungary)
Look at the picture ...
Conclusion: I will order a new intake valves from England.
