Double seat.

Hi guypjfreak,

The double seats that I have removed and fitted were of the open tube frame type and once the old single seat box was removed it was very straight forward.
I made up square steel plates 3mm thick and welded nuts onto them, then once I could work out the best places for the mounts they made up mounts were welded into place.
And the same with the seat belt floor mounting points for the centre lap-strap.

Bolts and locktight.

Hi guypjfreak,

Ok so use the same 3mm steel plates for someone else to weld the tread nuts to them and then bolt them into the floor and use a good thread-lock to make sure they stay put.

Double seat.

Hi guypjfreak,

Both of the old seventies Bedford's that I had in the eighties had double tipping front seats so that they could be unlocked and tipped forwards for front door access, because they did not have side doors.
So you should able to pick up the correct double seat for your Bedford.
