Gearbox.

Hi Mike,

This should help Joe get his Bedford back up and running but only if the parcel force plane accept the dimensions and weight of the package, we should hear from them today.

Gearbox.

Hi Joe,

That seems to have taken a while to get to you Joe, you may already know this but I thought it was worth a word that the easiest way is to unbolt the gearbox from the bell-housing, leaving it still bolted to the engine.
First thing to do is lock the clutch pedal down to the floor, this will allow you to leave the clutch cable attached and in place and also gives you access to the lower bolts inside the bell-housing, once the four bolts are out the box will slide back over the cross-member and then forwards and down leaving the cross-member in place as well.
With the clutch pedal locked down the thrust-race will stay in place locked against the clutch cover-plate, makes it a much easier and quicker job.
