Perth is sinking. Hi to all,The river Tay has to come into town and my Bedford is close to joining the Titanic with the amount of water leaking into the top bunk, maybe that is a good thing if it fills up it won't float away! doujoy ---------------------- | Tue 05 Jan 2016 @ 23:03 |

Rain fall. Hi Mike,I cannot get any repairs done until it stops raining "if it stops" so it is just a containment and damage limitation exercise at the moment. doujoy ---------------------- | Wed 06 Jan 2016 @ 16:48 |

Hi Doug You could try a tarp over the top. It'll do one of two things, either slow the water down or act as a sail and take the CF on a cruise down the Tay ---------------------- | Wed 06 Jan 2016 @ 16:58 |

Tarp, Hi Colin,With the wind and gales we have been getting a tarp would rip or the Bedford would be halfway down the A9 into the city, I have bought a tarp big enough to cover the whole van but it would just become a sail. doujoy ---------------------- | Wed 06 Jan 2016 @ 17:08 |

I bought one of these Doug http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Maypole-4-Ply-Premium-Grey-Full-Breathable-Motorhome-Cover-Under-5-7m-/391208780717?hash=item5b15dc43ad:g:vowAAOSwWnFV-AVW though I have not used it yet as I am renting space in a barn for now but these covers look pretty substantial and are a close fit round the van, might help? Engine movement. Hi to all,I have managed to move the 1.8 engine back round into the trailer but it was not as heavy as the complete 2.3 engine is going to be, so I have spent a bit of time today working out just how this can be done without injury or damage to me or the engine. The biggest problem at the moment is the very soft water logged ground, might have to leave it until things dry out a bit, and that might take some time! doujoy ---------------------- | Thu 07 Jan 2016 @ 19:53 |
