Getting the CF ready for Spring

Apart form the diff change I've also been busy with some MOT work and general TLC to get the Bedford ready for this year.
I'm very happy that all the cleaning and re-sealing of the roof sections and skylights last summer did the job and the inside stayed completely dry during the last few months of rain. I never fitted the cover I bought, as the CF was just parked outside my workshop as an ongoing job.
I remade some of the timber for the lower parts of the rear coach work and straightened the ally skins to tidy the body work, which included rebuilding the removable section to access the spare wheel. But mainly to have new solid support for the rear wind down stabilisers.
MOT work included checking, cleaning and adjusting the brakes, a couple of new tyres for the front and sorting the rear lights which can be a bit temperamental at times.
Now it just needs a good clean inside and out and we're ready to go again.

Curing the leaks.

Hi XSfrank,

Like yourself sky lights and roof seams are now all done and it has been a success and well tested by the endless wind and rain storms of the past six weeks.
The MOT is due in April but I will take for a test in March so that if April turn out to be a good month of weather the Bedford will be ready for the road.
