zig unit fault

Hi dont know if anyone can help I have a zig cf8 that suddenly keeps blowing the inline fuse to the leisure battery have checked all the wiring and all seems ok and it also works ok on 240v many thanks jamie

Zig fault.

Jamie800,

It has to have to total short on the lower voltage side of the wiring, or inside the unit its self.

Thanks Doug gues its disconnect one thing at a time to discover where the problem is. Hope you,re keeping well new gearbox is running fine regards Jamie

Hi Jamie,

Good to hear that gearbox is doing well, "as it should" but finding a fault like this can be a pain, have you got a multi-meter to check the Ohms readings as you work your way along each 12 volt wire.
