gearbox I am in the process of fitting a new gearbox to my cf on the box I am taking out their is a place to connect two wires on the plate that the gear stick goes into on the new box it is blank can I just swap the plates round and I need a seal for were the speedo cable goes in any one know were I can get one thanks | Wed 25 May 2016 @ 11:11 |

Cover plate. Hi Joe,I think you are just talking about the cover plate on the gearstick turret, if so then you can just swap them over, you must have a reverse light switch fitted to your own one, the plate is just held on by two 7/16 AF studs. doujoy ---------------------- | Thu 26 May 2016 @ 17:11 |

Cover plate. Hi Joe,There is a seal behind that gearstick turret so no need for a seal under the cover plate but before you fit the plate make sure there is plenty of grease inside the casing to keep the selector shaft and finger lubricated and keep the water out. doujoy ---------------------- | Fri 27 May 2016 @ 10:17 |
