Getting better

Today I had the van off ramp she started on the first turn so I know the engine is behaving tomorrow I will go for a drive to see how the g/box is.I did remember to put EP90 in.Cheers Jim.

Hi Jim,

Sounds like you are getting there I take it you used the clutch plate I sent along, a good gearbox additive is worth adding to the oil top-up.

I(f it's not 1 thing it's another

Hi Doug,all seemd ok until I checked the lighting and no panel light so I striped the panel off there is no 12v to the light sect,So more digging to do.All good fun.Cheers+Beers Jim.

gear box

Sorry Doug,the box is in with new oil and additive I am not sure of the prop as it only goes into the box by about 3" this is after cutting it to fit the Ford box.Any thought's apresiated Cheers Jim.

Prop=shaft.

Hi Jim,

With the prop-shaft bolted up into place you should have about an inch and a quarter of the spline yoke showing out of the gearbox tail-shaft, any more than that and you will be putting strain on the gearbox rear bearing.
And the balance is a bit off it will vibrate about forty two MPH and get worse with speed.

Prop
