Rear brake shoes for an E Reg cf2 3.3 litre, straight six auto transmission

Hello all VIN NO. SKF973700FV617556
I hope someone can help me. I have recently bought a bedford cf2 1988 e reg converted camper. It has a 3.3 litre straight six engine. Brake discs on the front and drum brakes on the rear. It is in the garage at the moment waiting to get through its MOT and they are having great trouble in finding a set of brake shoes for the rear drum brakes so I am doing my own investigations. I have the v5 and know the vehicle weighs 2570kg I'm not sure which model cf I have as it seems to be quite rare.I would really appreciate some help in being able to locate a set of rear brake shoes for this particular model of vehicle and also to know what model it is!

to recap

first reg april 1988 E reg
cf2 Holden 3.3 straight six engine
Auto transmission
weight 2570kg
petrol

Thanks for reading
Jamie

Rear brake shoes.

Jamie123,

This will be a twin wheel rear axle, Adrian Baily would be worth a visit on-line, there are old Bedford models 380 with twin wheel rear axle set up that might fit.
Or you could have your old brake shoes re-lined using the old riveting system.

Thank you for your reply. I've done some more investigating and found that it is a bedford cf250 even though it has the 3.3 holden engine used in ambulances of the time and has regular cf250 brakes shoes fitted. Thanks for the Adrian Bailey reference, I gave him a call and he was very helpful also, so thanks a lot for your help, much apreciated
Jamie
