Appeal

About seven years ago,our son ended up with a hypoxic brain injury. It left him unable to do anything himself. He'd been fully funded by the NHS up until May last year.He now has to pay 65% of his ESA towards his care leaving him about £24 a week.
The wheelchair that had been provided for him recently broke & isn't repairable.Since he's no longer fully funded the NHS won't provide him with a replacement.
Our daughter started a go fund me page on his behalf (unknown to us).Any help anyone can offer would be most gratefully appreciated.

Lin & I would like to thank everyone who has donated towards our son's wheelchair. We have been overwhelmed with the generosity of people, some who are total strangers.
His chair has been bought & will be delivered on Tuesday. There has been a development which I can't fully go into at the moment,I will update as soon as I can.Once again many thanks for your help.

Update

When our daughter started this campaign, she was unaware that we had an ongoing case over his ESA.Since then he has been awarded a back payment that more than covers the cost of his chair.
Because people had donated to his appeal on the basis that he/we couldn't afford to buy his chair we felt it unfair to keep the money.I've now contacted the donators regarding a refund.
Lin & I would like to thank everyone for all the support they have given us.
