Sad outlook.

Hi to all,

I am wishing now that I had sold the old Bedford last year while there was so much interest in it because in my present state it is being neglected.
And leg is not healing like I thought it might after six weeks I still have a lot of pain and doubt if I will be able to drive it safely.
So my plans may have to be changed for the coming season of rallies and events.

MOT time.

Hi to all,

I just might try a drive to the MOT station and both the Bedford and myself can get tested at the same time, the leg has no welding but might need to be checked for rust.
I have told my family at death don't phone the undertaker just wheel me along to the scrapyard, should be worth a few quid.

Improvements in outlook.

Hi to all,

Improvements In getting around as long as I have enough in killers before setting off on any distance walking, but today I have managed to drive my old Bedford to the filling station for petrol and got back safely to park up.
The bone healing is taking a bit longer than I thought it would but the doctor seems to think I am doing OK for my age!
She said your dancing days maybe over and I said well since I could not dance before breaking my leg I won't miss it!

That time again.

Hi to all,

I have driven my old Bedford as far as the fuel station but on Thursday I will be driving it to the MOT testing station, having just scrapped through last years test this might be a lot to ask.
But before my leg breaking tumble I did manage to get the brakes serviced and new rubbers kits fitted and adjustments made, so here is hoping for a pass.

A testing time.

Hi to all,

Today was the testing day for the old Bedford and it has passed, so well pleased with that and nice to be able to drive the beast out on the open road for the first time since my leg injury.
I hope to get to the Kelso rally on the twentieth of May, it might be a long drive with plenty of stops but no great rush.
