Some repairs to be done.

Hi to all,

Having made it though another MOT test I now have some repairs to get done, a bit of a brake imbalance at the rear brakes and a wonky speedo.
On the way to and from the MOT test it drove well and the brakes felt fine but the rolling road showed up a difference, so that will have to be put right, most likely to be adjustment.
The round trip was about thirty miles to the mot and that was good after being off the road all winter, it let's things settle down before you get there and let's you check out all the other things, like temp. oil pressure brakes and gearbox.
The engine ran well and it used just over a gallon of petrol so I was well pleased with that, but some additive for the engine and gearbox will be put in before it goes on any long journeys.

One thing leads to another.

Hi to all,

Thought I would do some easy jobs today then discovered electric and battery connections that failed to work and ended up rewiring the water tank pump and removing it and fitting it in a more suitable place.
Discovered a water leak at the water heater pipes and the speedo cable has broken once again, have to order another new one.
Changed the internal supply battery for one with a bit more power and filled up the water supply tank after fitting new pipes.
So get there very slowly, devised an easier jacking up system for disabled old guys, that is me just now with a lot less crawling around on the ground.
