Trip around northwest Europe Just got back from a 3000 mile trip in the van and thought I would share some pics...We Crossed the channel Dover/Dunkerque and headed into Belgium then pretty much straight into Luxembourg (Clervaux and stayed there for a couple of days) then headed south down the Lux/german border to they capital for lunch. After that we stayed east of Metz at a quiet rural site in Burtoncourt. Driving south we arrived at a place called Seelbach in Germany where we stopped overnight before heading off to lake constance. We then went into the Alps, Trun, amazing scenery, we went over the oberalppass and susten pass in one day (phew) the van started to play up after that so we limped it to Meringen where I got a can of carb cleaner and stripped the carb on our camping table. We headed west into france past geneva and ended up in the middle of nowhere in a place called Seurre. More van trouble, the king lead (new) developed an intermittant fault but refitting it occasionally seem to keep the van going ok, we met a Nomad who was friendly enough and we all stood and watched as the a car accident outside the gates of the camp developed into a massive brawl. The next few days, west again towards La Rochelle and then north up into Brittany to visit my parents for a while. Then into normandy and back to the Uk and home via my mate house in Bedford (believe it or not) All in all an excellent time, we enjoyed living in the van and it received compliments wherever we went. :D Pics..

That looks fantastic, just shows you dont need an expensive camper to see the world. ---------------------- |

From what I saw, the only thing people in expensive campers see is Sky television.:p ---------------------- |
