Snow stopped my work.

Hi,

My work on the old bedford was going just great, got a lot of work done and then it snowed and froze and then snowed some more, then last night in went all the way down to 10 below.
So all work has had to stop before some of my bits start dropping off, when it gets this cold your nose stops dripping and the spanners stick to you fingers, who said the globe was warming up.
And as for these Polar Bears they can come and live in my Bedford,
if they can get the doors open, and of course they must be pottie trained.
Wishing you all a Merry Christmas and a New Goverment for a Happy New Year.

Doug.

Hi Doug

Hope you have thawed oot now, when i returned home to the frozen north from leeds last week I came home to find water in toilet cistern frozen solid !! the water waste from shower and wash hand basin also frozen and to add to my woes the water pipe for the central heating..........yes you guessed right was frozen. Have thawed oot now so hope you have too and are resuming your labour of love.

The Big Melt Down.

Hi, you guy's,

Well our snow has almost gone today, so I thought I would check the damage and maybe even make a fresh start to my repairs.
Very slow turnover on the key but the old girl started, had a bit of a spit and fart, then evening out to a smooth tickover.
All seems well, then I go inside and find all the leaks, thanks to jack frost, and he is very good at his job.
Well we will se how the week goes, I have redone my list to cover extra add on stuff, might even risk an MOT test in Feb.

cheers, Doug.
