Crunch!

I parked the CF in Netto the other day. As I pulled up under the big sign there was a nasty crunch. AAAGGGHHHH I looked up and could see the big yellow sign and my heart left its usual position. I jumped out and looked at the mangled mess of the crushed can under the wheel and sighed such relief. You would think I had just killed a puppy the way I had felt! We love our Bedfords!

You should see me pace up and down when I take my Dolomite for a tyre. They always put the jack in the wrong place and damage the underside. I told him twice last time and then I shouted!!!
I had a garage lift the CF in the wrong place once. The gearbox mounting got bent and the propshaft hit the floor. These are the professionals!! It belongs to you not them and you are paying them not to break it!!!!! AAAAGGGGHHH Rant!
I would rather upset a garage than to have bring it back broken only for them to deny responsibility. Lets face it if they do it my way and it avoids the damage it also avoids me demanding they cough up for rectification.

I hate leaving mine behind. To them it is just an old thing. If it gets scratched I wont notice or care. YES I damn well will!

I have spent a lot of time in garages and some of the the things I have seen mechanics do to customers cars you would not believe. My favourite recent story was of a car that had a mark on the dashboard. The 'new' lad was asked to whizz it off. He didnt really understand and jet washed the inside of the car!!
