Let there be light. Hi to all,My cab light was not working so I checked the feed, no power, followed the wire back around the top of the cab, snipped off at the top of the B-post, good reason for no power I thought. So I ran a new wire from a live feed on the light switch, still no light because there was no earth on the light fitting, so earthed the fitting and it switched on, hooray. But still no light working when I opened the doors, so removed door switches, no bloody wires. So now I have rewired the whole setup, someone had cut out all the wires, and then snipped off the feed, but they had went to all trouble of pulling out all the wires down to the door switches. There are some very strange people out there, and thought I was odd!, well I do own a Bedford and some find that very odd. Doug. ---------------------- | Sun 25 Apr 2010 @ 16:25 |

Doug, after similar problems with the domestic side of Moby's wiring, I pulled out all the original, butchered and segmented spaghetti and started from scratch with new wire- heavier duty and more importantly, continuous. Much easier to do than fault find where breaks might be! ---------------------- | Sun 25 Apr 2010 @ 20:06 |

Its amazing what you find sometimes. Someone wired up a 30 amp electric radiator fan on my Suzuki SJ, no fuse or relay, just a 99p plastic switch from maplin and some doorbell wire. Incredible (that it didn't catch fire) ---------------------- | Thu 29 Apr 2010 @ 16:19 |

On the subject of lights, has anyone found some decent LED lights that are reliable and pump out enough light for luxury? Im keen to reduce demand on my leisure battery! ---------------------- | Thu 29 Apr 2010 @ 17:09 |

The children enjoy using those solar garden lights, pegged out by day, to read by or illuminate a trip to the toilet block. No wires! | Fri 30 Apr 2010 @ 15:14 |

try http://www.planeteleds.fr/ in French. I'm sure you can manage. They are applying an outrageous overcharge for shipping abroad, but I can help if needed ;] ---------------------- | Sat 01 May 2010 @ 16:43 |
