Gearbox repairs.

Hi to all,

So far three gearboxes brought back from the dead, parts replaced and gears tested then returned to their owners at low cost, (parts only cost charged).
Its good to be getting dirty and doing some good again.

Doug.

We are just waiting for our son to come and help us fit our new O/D gearbox that Doug has sorted out for us.
Great service and all for the sake of helping other club members rather than profit, maybe as a small club this is how we should be seen rather than whats going on elsewhere on the site.
Thanks for all your help Doug.
Cheers Derek & Lyn

Hi Lyndel.

Hi lyndel,

Thanks for that, don't go straining yourself under that campervan lifting gearbox into place.

Doug.

Hi Doug, there's no fear of that when you've got a fit 19 year old son that needs his car getting ready for it's M.O.T lol.

Indeed; helping out is very satisfying too.

maybe as a small club this is how we should be seen rather than whats going on elsewhere on the site.

I'm confused by this. I'm not aware of anyone making a profit out of helping other members.

Hi there Phil, what I meant was the arguments about the VBOA,not that anybody was making profit from other members.
Sorry for any confusion caused. Cheers,Derek
