Winter snow.

Hi to all,

Well all work has stopped for now on my old Bedshed because there is just over a foot of snow on it, I hope I got that roof sealed, but at the moment it looks as if it has no wheels.
But the gearbox, brakes and propshaft are all done, so is the underseal so I am due a rest, thank you Mother nature, very nice of you to think of me.
I think I will retire to the workshop and build a sledge for my grandaughter, she is only eight months old but she will need one next year!
And I have the metal to build a snowplough, but the wife says she won't push it! so that is that plan scraped.
And I am waiting on parts for my spare engine rebuild, might have to wait until the roads are passable again.
It looks like being a long winter, best buy in plenty of good strong drink.

Doug.

Hi Doug
It seems according to what I see on the news lately you are getting a good taste of Canadian style weather down your way.

Hope you stay safe...warm and drive accordingly.

Yeh, nice photo. I had about the same on my roof today. Went out to clear it off, almost two feet deep. A lot of weight and didn't want the roof to cave it. Have seen a few collapsed shed roofs already.
Kep safe...A

Like the ski-slope Greg!
Often we get dumps of 1 to 2 feet of snow in one storm. I have had my Bedouin roof with 3 feet plus of snow without doing any damage whatsoever.
Our snow is powder, not the heavy wet chitty snow yous get. The picture above shows an avalanche of snow that slid off our tin roof before I could move the Bedford. That was not good. I do make a good attempt at clearing the roof. Near the end of the season its easier as I do not need a ladder to get to the roof. I walk up to it. lol

Thanks 4 the thanks Abodator, how in the heck did you manage to score 2 Bedfords??
