Snow melt and frost.

Hi to all,

After the two feet of snow melted away and the frost eased back to just -6*I thought it was time to try and start the old Bedshed.
Well isn't water clever stuff it gets everywhere, and shows up all the weak areas of wiring, loads of sparks but none going to where the plugs live.
But with the help of some WD 40 and some heatshrik and solder for the bad connections she burst into life, in five minutes of running when the smoke and steam cleared she settled down to a normal tickover.
Not too bad then, the lass next door has a four X four and it has been off the road for a week with frozen diesel, I think she was quite annoyed when she heard the old Bedford splutter into life as she walk past on her way to work.
But we have more snow to night and the forecast is more for the weekend, and more lovely frost just to make sure it stays for a while.
Well I have another gearbox to strip down in my well heated workshop so the weather can do its worst.

Doug.
