sort of a restore with a difference

hello everyone i bought a 1979 bedford cf campervan not knowing what to expect!! when i started to rip it apart ..well i can laugh about it now because its nearly completed but at the time i wanted to have a hobby not knowin that once you start to replace walls..floors..ceilings..gas lines..electrics ..upgrade water systems upholster every thing" i sttarted to bang my head off the wall but its been worth it up till now its give me somewhere to sit and work in peace in the winter away from my wife and three daughters but please take a look at my pictures on page 19 of members and there cfs because i might have a few questions to ask when i hit a wall...mentaly not actual in camper..well i hope not anyway...see yah...

Is that you in the beany hat and grey sweatshirt, up the steps doing something to the little window?

If so, you've been hard at work. Looks great. What are your plans for painting?

I'm due to attempt the famed £50 Rustoleum roller finish on my van but with a small difference to what is recommended. I'm not going to use thinners, but I am going to sand it like a nutter to get if flat, then buff it like a bugger to get it smooth.

Hi Kenny and welcome. Have a look in the 'Club rallies and Events' section but I think you have to be a card holder to see them. There are a few meets and events planned so just pop your name down and turn up
